"Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age."

Matthew 28:19-20

Short-term mission trips and projects are planned throughout the year to work with international
missionaries and mission partners.

Back to School Bash

Once a year, usually in July, we give away gently used clothing and backpacks full of school supplies to the children in the New Kent community.

Inasmuch Day

Once a year, usually in July, we spread God’s love throughout the community by going out and doing something in service for someone else. Past service opportunities included yard work, repairs/building projects, sewing pillowcases, washing windshields, handing out free Bibles and water bottles, visiting and singing at local nursing homes, a canned food drive, writing cards, hosting blood drives and health fairs.

Virginia Baptist Disaster Response

Through the Virginia Baptist Disaster Response ministry, we serve to share the love of Christ as we meet significant physical needs after a disaster. We work alongside local and state emergency management, national Baptist partners, churches, and associations to provide emergency relief in moments of great need resulting from natural and manmade disasters throughout Virginia, across the Unites States, and around the world.

Operation Christmas Child

Throughout the year, we pack shoeboxes with hats, gloves, scarves, stuffed animals, toys, hygiene items, clothes, school supplies, games and more. By partnering with Samaritan’s purse through Operation Christmas Child our shoeboxes were part of the 11,485,662 collected and delivered to children around the world last year.
